Week 5 of #Project365 - A photo every day for a year!

For the past week I've been full of cold and to be honest I didn't take many photos. In fact some days I just took one purely for Project 365. It has been a rubbish week where I haven't done much apart from feel sorry for myself.

Now for a photo every day.

26/365 - 26th January
The best tea ever! Fake KFC. Chicken bits, corn on the cob, fries, onion rings, baked beans and coleslaw.

27/365 - 27th January
I came down with the cold, Ellie had been up during the night being sick and we all needed a day of doing nothing. We brought the duvets down and watched Thor: Ragnarok and then Avengers: Infinity War. I am not even a fan of superhero films but I do love those two!

28/365 - 28th January
I dosed myself up with cold & flu tablets. They helped with the cold but not with being able to sleep. I was still awake at gone 1am and then was up with the kids at half past six. I ended up going back to bed when they went to school.

29/365 - 29th January
I had to take a photo of the class charts thing from the school. Ellie's teacher rang to say how well she is doing. I couldn't have been prouder. She hasn't always done so well at school so it is such a big deal for us.

30/365 - 30th January
Taking some photos for a blog post.

31/365 - 31st January
I saw this Jackfruit in BBQ sauce in Tesco and wanted to give it a try. I am not a Vegan but it sounded interesting. It has the same texture of pulled pork. I can't describe what it does taste like, fruity but not, one thing for sure I wasn't a fan. The kids like it though. They thought it was meat. lol

32/365 - 1st February
We finally had some snow. Not a lot but some. It was bright and sunny for most of the day with showers of hailstones. I'm glad we're in for the weekend.

  1. Sorry to hear you've been poorly. Hope you're on the mend now. The fake KFC looks good. I rarely eat corn, but really fancy some corn cobs now. Well done to Ellie!
I think I have tried a meal with jackfruit last year, and wasn't particularly impressed either.

  2. Sorry to hear you haven't been feeling well. Hope you feel better soon. That's great news about how Ellie is doing in school! I've seen a lot of jackfruit around recently, but had no idea what it was or what it tasted like. I'm not vegan, but I have been vegetarian since I was 17, so I'm always interested to try new things.

  3. Oh no I hope you are feeling better now? You are not the only one that takes pictures just for 365 and I don't even have an excuse lol. Great news on Ellie at school you must be very proud. We got about the same amount of snow as you and the kids were so disappointed they couldn't have a snow day! xx

We did not have much more snow than that but it froze and made life difficult.
