Soreen Lunchbox Loaves - Review!

Soreen is something which has always been in my life....I remember eating malt loaf as a child, covered with Lurpak butter with my Grandad.....As the years have gone by my girls started to eat it too....They are huge fans of it but now there is more to the range apart from the original malt loaf....Last year we were sent the Squidgy Cake Minis to try this time we are trying out the Lunchbox Loaves. The original and the banana one's.

Lunchbox Loaves are such a great idea especially for families. Each packet contains 5 individually wrapped bite size treats....They are great as a snack on the go or can be used in a packed lunch for school without the worry of them being confiscated for being unhealthy.

They are only 95 calories each and less than 0.3g saturated fat, meet the Government’s Nutritional Standards for Schools and are suitable for vegetarians....

We got these last week and they are already all gone.....I didn't get a look in with them, especially the banana one's. They were a big hit with my girls. They were eaten as a snack after breakfast and after school....My girls asked me to add them shopping list and I happily obliged....

Instead of reaching for chocolate or cakes I have had one of these on an afternoon with a cuppa....They are a great alternative to what I usually go for....Healthier and more satisfying....As they are individually wrapped there is no fear of them drying out and going hard. They are the perfect snack.

Lunchbox loaves are available from all major supermarkets including Asda, Sainsbury’s, Waitrose, The Co-operative, Tesco, Morrison’s and Ocado.com at an RRP of £1.35.

Do you like Soreen products?

We were sent these free of charge to review....All thoughts and opinions are my own.

  6. What I love about reading bloggers in different countries is learning about new different foods I've never heard of that is staple in some homes. I'll have to ask my MIL as she is originally from Bristol. =) #MMBC

    1. Ahh! Soreen has been around for years. I'm nearly 40 and I remember it from being a child. It's strange to think other countries go without it. hehehe Thank you!

  7. Ah malt loaf makes me think of my grandparents too - Grandma would often give us it for supper. My own children aren't big fans - all the more for me!
