A Beach Birthday Party....

It's Ellie's birthday at the end of this month....We usually have a day out and go for a meal but with it being on the bank holiday Monday we don't fancy doing that so we said we would have a party at home....We asked her what type of party she want's and were expecting her to say a princess one....Nope not this year. She wants a beach party and a BBQ.....We will also have the paddling pool out....It sounds good to me!

I was looking around for party things and got a little carried away on Party Delights.

Summer Scene Party Pack - £9.99
It includes 8 x Paper Plates, 8 x Paper Cups, 16 x Paper Napkins, 1 x Plastic Tablecover, 10 x 11'' Plain Latex Balloons.

Palm Tree add ons - £6.99 for a packet of 6.
Multicolour Hawaiian Lei's - 85 pence.
Inflatable Tropical Fish - £1.75 for a pack of 3.
Inflatable Clown Fish - £2.49
Yellow Polka Dot Plastic Bunting - £1.99 for 3.6m
Inflatable Parrot - £3.99
Tinsel Sun - £1.99
Fun In The Sun Hanging Swirls Decorations - £3.99 for a pack of 12.
Warm Tone Plastic Margarita Glasses - £1.10 each
Ice Cream Party Bubbles - 79 pence each

For the BBQ we will of course have the normal sausages and burgers but while I was walking around Iceland last week I noticed their BBQ food and some of the things they had in had me drooling!

10 Chicken & Bacon Twisters - £2.00
Chicken & Chorizo Kebabs - £3.00
Pork Sausage Wheels - £2.00
Garlic & Chilli King Prawn Kebabs - £3.00

And as a little extra I've bought a Pinata kit from Tesco. For years Ellie has asked for one on her birthday and it's always one of those things that I never get around to buying.....

For £26.39 it includes everything you need a stick, blindfold, assorted toys and 1kg of sweets.

I am so excited for her birthday and she doesn't have a clue what we have planned....Fingers crossed it's going to be a nice day weather wise.....

  2. We had a pinata for N's party - 3 whacks in from 1 5 year old and it was open! Couldn't believe it. They're great fun.

Hope the weather holds and she has a lovely party #pocolo

  3. That looks like such an amazing party. I've always found pinatas quite flimsy so hope it goes well - don't overfill it.
