Weetabix Protein - Review!

Breakfast is the most important meal of the day....I admit I don't always eat it but I make sure the girls do. We are very fond of Weetabix so when I got the chance to try the new Weetabix Protein I was keen to see what it was all about.

Specially developed with high quality wheat protein Weetabix Protein is targeted at health-conscious and active consumers who are looking for a tasty and nutritious high protein breakfast. Packed with 62% carbohydrate which provides energy to the body.... Weetabix Protein helps keep the whole family going all morning.

Weetabix Protein is not only high in wheat protein but contains all the goodness of traditional Weetabix cereal - High in fibre, low in sugar, salt and fat and fortified with Iron and vitamins, with a serving of Weetabix Protein with milk (40g portion with 135ml semi-skimmed milk) containing 12g of protein compared to 6g from a large egg.

We have all tried these for breakfast and I can't tell any difference between the taste of these and the original Weetabix....The girls said they did taste nicer but I think it's just because it's something new....hehehe

I had these at about eight this morning and usually by 11am I start to feel hungry again.....It's now 11.50am and I am just starting to feel hungry again so they do seem to keep me going for longer.....

I don't think these will last the week.....We do love Weetabix in this house....These will become a regular thing I think.

Weetabix Protein 24s are priced at £2.99.

They have been available in Waitrose since January and expect to see them in other supermarkets soon....

We were sent a box of Weetabix Protein in exchange for this post....All thoughts and opinions are my own.

  1. Hi Kim, I love Weetabix and have yet to see those over here, but when I do I'll definitely be giving them a go, especially if your girls think they taste better!
