All About Me! Day 1 of #Blogtober18

Throughout October I will be joining in with Big Family Organised Chaos and her linky for Blogtober18....Today's prompt is: All About Me / A Year On

If you read my blog you know who I am and for those of you who don't read regularly, why?. lol For those who don't read regularly I'm Kim, a nearly 40 year old from a small town in Northumberland called Ashington. I have two girls. Becky (16) and Ellie (11). I also live with my fella who's called Stu. Nice to meet you!

This is my 3rd year joining in with Blogtober. I love it. I am hoping to keep my streak up by blogging every day with the prompt given. I am such a swot. hehehe

I have been blogging daily for nearly 6 years so I have written about a lot of things but with joining in with Blogtober I am given ideas for blog posts and write about things that wouldn't normally blog about. It is also great because I always used to hit a slump when it came to ideas for blog posts at this time of year. September is always for writing about my girls birthdays, going back to school and the summer and it seems too early to blog about Christmas just yet.

Since I last joined in with last years Blogtober not much has actually changed in our lives. Well nothing major anyway. We are still in the same house, Stu still has the same job and I am a stay at home mam. For the girls a lot has changed. Becky is in her last year of secondary school and Ellie in her first which I will be blogging more about in a few days.

I can usually be found on Twitter which is my favourite social media platform where I am usually moaning about the weather, my kids and my neighbours.....

I can't wait to read the rest of the posts linked up and hopefully find a whole new heap of blogs to follow.

Are you new to Blogtober?

  2. Thankyou for joining in again, I am always in awe of how you manage to get everything so organised, and slightly jealous that you have the staying power of Project 365, when I always seem to fail! Looking forward to hearing more about your lovely family and seeing how you tackle the prompts!

  7. Sounds like your girls have had an eventful year so far. I can't remember if I was more nervous starting year 7 or year 11. I think I hated both haha #blogtober18

  10. How do you manage to post daily?! I took part in blogtober last year, but not every day, I can't manage that level of productivity! This year I'm planning to take part as much as I can, but its a lot to keep up with. #blogtober
