Bubbles, Bike riding and Bread. Week 17. #Project365

We have had a nice week mostly....Plenty of being outside and the sun is still shining despite bad weather being forecast....The kids have played outside plenty and had a good week at school.

Now for a photo every day.

110/365 - 21st April
Bubbles! Ellie spent most of the day outside playing....

111/365 - 22nd April
Becky finally got the hang of how to ride her bike!

112/365 - 23rd April
Ellie baked bread at school....It actually tasted like bread and was so soft. She had eaten half of it on her way home from school though....lol

113/365 - 24th April
Monkey had to get involved with a blog review! Banana milkshake. His favourite thing says Ellie. lol

114/365 - 25th April
I am glad I set the fish tank up and left it a few days because the water went cloudy. We think from the gravel. It had been washed but obviously not enough. We will get some fish eventually....

115/365 - 26th April
What a palaver I had at Specsavers. I ended up walking out because the person serving me was quite rude and wrong in the information she gave me....I was made to feel so small for trying to use a NHS tax credit exemption certificate to get some glasses. She said it wasn't valid because I only claim Child tax credit. I complained and was given an apology. My glasses will be available to collect next week.

116/365 - 27th April
Ellie has been working hard at school & was rewarded for her efforts.

  1. Well done to Ellie on the certificate. Oh I don't blame you for complaining at specsavers, that was bang out of order

  2. Well done to Ellie for her certificate! It sounds like the weather has been better for you than it has for us. How frustrating about the glasses.

  3. Big well done, Ellie! You're a true super star! What a pain about Specsavers' person being rude, some people enjoy whatever little power they have. Glad you had it sorted, but I imagine how unpleasant it was. The bread looks delicious, I can see why it was half-eaten on the way home. Freshly baked bread is such a treat.

  4. Ooo I get so angry when customer service is rude. No need for it at all. Good on you for putting a complaint in. I hope they learn something from it. Well done Ellie she looks so chuffed :) #365

  9. I always enjoyed playing with bubbles as a child, and I still remember learning how to ride a bike. What a feeling of accomplishment! Great week collection. #MMBC

  11. I'm not surprised Ellie started eating her bread on the way home - who can resist freshly baked bread?! And glad to hear you had the issue with Specsavers sorted.

Lovely photos, the sort of thing we do too (tho not the bread, Adam won't eat bread). Glad you got sorted at Specsavers, I didn't know there were ANY exemptions so I have found out something I did not know.
