I can think of a couple which are missing....We're Going on a Bear Hunt.....One of my girls favourite books when they were little and Animal Farm by George Orwell....I remember reading that at school.

Do you think it's a good list? How many have you or your children read?

  3. A great list. My little boy is just 20 months but we have a few of the books in the list - I think everyone must have the hungry caterpillar - and love reading to him. He loves his books too, think he'll be a great reader one day. Books are wonderful aren't they! :)

  4. It is a good list though it makes me feel terribly old not knowing some of them! I still have my dog-eared copy of Black Beauty, couldn't bear to part with it! :)
