My Highs and Lows of 2014!

I was tagged by the lovely Laura from My Life As a Mummy in this tag....Thank you Laura! I do love these things!

 1. What was your happiest event?
Apart from the days out we had as a family my happiest event was my birthday....For the last few years I haven't had any presents to open on the day....Two years I had Bon Jovi tickets and the year inbetween we were paying off some debts....Money was tight! So getting presents this year and going for a meal was such a lovely treat and so special!

2. What was the saddest thing to happen?
My nephews grandmother was diagnosed with cancer again.....I was so sad for the family but it actually turned into happiness when she was given the all clear just before Christmas....Apart from that there wasn't much sadness in 2014.

3. What was the most unlikely thing to happen that actually went ahead and did?
Becky and I went to see One Direction in concert.....We hadn't planned to when the tickets went on sale....My friend bought 2 extra for another friend who was away on holiday at the time but it turns out her sister had bought them for her so there was 2 going spare.....Hooray for us!

4. Who let you down?
I can't really go into details.....There is a person who has been saying they are going to do something since March 2013 and I actually thought they would go through with it last year but they couldn't be bothered....If you know me in real life or have me on Facebook you will know exactly what I'm on about....
It's an odd one....I will most probably blog all about it when it is finally over with! lol

5. Who supported you?
Obviously Stu and my friends.....I'm so lucky to have 3 close friends who are absolutely amazing!

6. Tell us what you learned.
Blogging wise I've learned so much.....I'm by no way an expert but I feel more capable now....I also learned how to change a plug....lol

7. Tell us what made you laugh.
My girls....They are the funniest!

8. Tell us the things that made you cry.
I'm not much of a crier.....TV shows like Surprise, Surprise and DIY SOS do always manage to have me in tears though....

9. Tell us three things your child or children did to make you feel proud.
Becky finished primary school and has settled into Secondary school really well....
Ellie's behavior at school has really improved and her and her teacher get on so well....
Both my girls had the SAT tests last year and they both did brilliantly!

10. Tell us the things that made you proud of yourself.
I am so proud of this blog....How it has grown....It's never going to be the biggest or the best out there but it is my part of the internet and it makes me proud....

11. Tell us the challenges you overcame.
I've spent more time in the kitchen and became a better cook I think....The kids may disagree when I present them with something which looks way to healthy for them....

12. Tell us the things you would like to change about your life in 2015.
There isn't much I would change......Having more money would be nice but I can't see that changing unless we win the lottery....hehehe Having more days out would be fantastic too....

I am tagging you all to take part with this....
