I can't help but love the Villain....

Not in real life of course......On TV!

We aren’t supposed to like the bad guys but of course we do.....There’s just something about a clever villain in a television show that pulls me in and makes me want more.....I constantly find myself rooting for most villains because they are so much more interesting than the main character or hero....

My favourites in no particular....My top 5 are....

The Governor from The Walking Dead...

Until the second series of The Walking Dead the walkers were main problem for Rick and his group.....Come season 3 The Governor happened.... All he wants is to make a place where people can return to their old lifestyle and he actually is very successful at that but he was crazy!!

He is/was such a charismatic villain! Possibly the worst type....He showed no signs of evil until it was too late....He was a deeply twisted man with a hatred for anyone he couldn't control.....Killing innocent survivors, keeping zombie heads and still taking care of his daughter who had turned into a walker....The worst thing he did was killing one my favourite characters....He did it all with ease, with righteousness, and with no regret or guilt!! Evil!!

Gus Fring from Breaking Bad...

Gus Fring was a community leader with a chain of ordinary chicken restaurants by day and by night, he was a millionaire meth kingpin who was prone to using a box-cutter to make one hell of a point. I loved that scene....hehehe

Instead of the usual crazy and eccentric kind of villain he's so calm and a quiet man....He was a bad guy who managed to look like a good guy on the outside!! When you find out about his past you can sort of understand why he is like he is but that's no excuse....Even when he got half of his face blown off he still manages to walk a few feet and fix his tie....That shows class!

T-Bag from Prison Break...

Racist, rapist, murderer, pedophile.....You are meant to hate
T-Bag from the start....Still his charm and impressive intellect seduce you and make you like him.....We should know better.....

T-Bag escapes from Fox River with Michael Scofield and six other inmates.....To ensure his safety he handcuffs himself to Michael but one of the other Prisoners grows sick of him and chops of his hand....Of course he's gets a vet to reattach his it without any anesthetic....Eek! Very resourceful though....

He was so smart, a great actor and so witty....He definitely has a good side, although he didn’t let it show for too long.

Angel/Angelus from Buffy the Vampire Slayer...

Angel, a vampire with a soul was the love interest of Buffy for most of season one and the beginning of season two until they spend a night together and after experiencing a moment of true happiness he loses his soul.

Without his soul Angel became Angelus an evil vampire intent on destroying the world. He didn’t have an ounce of humanity....

When he was good he was very, very good and when he was bad she was horrid....Going from hero to villain and back again....He pulls it off so well and makes you remember that it’s those close to you that can hurt you the most...

Sylar from Heroes...

Sylar was one of the the coolest villains on TV.....

Back before it turned into an awful show and got ridiculous Heroes launched one of the greatest TV villains of all time.....

Sylar's super hero power was that he could take other people's power....The only catch was that he had to cut open their brains to get it.....Sylar had no qualms about killing anyone and everyone with special powers which makes him both a murderer and a greedy little so and so.....He had no conscience....I still love him though.

Who's your favourite TV villain?
