Rainbow Braid Refill Kit - Review! #loomtothemoon

My girls have been crazy about Loom bands for months so when I had the chance to review some I jumped at the chance....

We were sent the Rainbow Braid 5400 Piece Refill Kit....

The rainbow refill pack comes with 250 S clips and 5400 bands in 18 different bold colors.
  • Solid/Neons (Red, Purple, Turquoise, Light Blue, Dark Blue)
  • Fluorescents (Yellow, Green, Blue, Pink, Orange, Purple)
  • Glitters (Pink, Blue, Purple, Orange, Green) and Bolds (Black, White)

My girls were so happy when they arrived.....The were delivered quickly and packaged very well.....There was plenty to share between them both....

The colours were bright and there was a great selection of them. The bands are of a very good quality. They are very stretchy and don't seem to snap easily.

This is great value at £14.90 with free delivery from Amazon....Much cheaper than some of the pound shops that sell them.

An excellent buy for anyone whose just starting as there is just so much variety or brilliant to top up your collection....

We know exactly what we're going to do with these Loom bands.....
We're going to Loom to the Moon....

Skye Hall, an incredible little boy from Abingdon, has been battling cancer since last year. Just weeks before he was due to start school he began to feel sick in the mornings and was diagnosed with a brain tumour.

Skye’s friends have kept him up to speed with the latest school ground craze of Looming and he has until recently, been kept very busy looming while receiving Oxygen Treatment when he is shut in a chamber for 1 ½ hours three times. Skye is the first child in the UK to be given this type of treatment for severe nerve damaged caused by the radio and chemotherapy and the staff at the MS centre have always joked with Skye that they were sending him to the moon every time they locked the door and counted down for the pressurization to start.

Always up for a challenge, Skye asked how many loom bands it would take to ‘ping’ to the moon – answer billions! He then decided he wanted to set a world record challenge!

Sadly however, he has recently become virtually paralyzed from the shoulders down and now needs the help of every looming enthusiast to help his reach his goal.

You can read the full story here!!

  2. Looks like a great set - we bought some from the cheapie shops and they perished so quickly - which is no fun when the kids are wearing them!
