Fruit Smoothies and Homemade Pizza (The cheats way)

On Monday I had the kids help with cooking tea....On the menu was Fruit Smoothies and Homemade Pizza (the cheats way)....

They love making pizzas but they can be a bit of a faff on making dough....A few weeks ago at a party my friend brought some pizzas made with the Warburtons Sandwich Thins.....I thought they were a great idea!!
The kids didn't need much instruction.....It was just a case of adding the toppings to the sandwich thins....

Ellie decided she didn't want tomato puree as it was too red? I have no idea why....lol So she ended up with tomato sauce, ham, pepperoni & cheese and Becky had the tomato puree, ham, sweetcorn and cheese....As the pepperoni was too spicy....She's a lot like me....Even a little bit of spice is sometimes too much!!

I popped them under the grill for a few minutes until the cheese had melted and they were done! Such a quick meal....

We also made smoothies to drink too!!

We used....

2 1/2 cupfuls crushed ice
2 bananas chopped
2 kiwis peeled and chopped
A couple of handfuls of chopped strawberries
A mango chopped
Half a pineapple chopped
Half a tin of coconut cream

I simply blended the ice and fruit in a liquidiser until it was all smooth and poured it into a glasses!! It was delicious!

The girls loved their tea.....I know it's because they had a hand in making it....It was all rather tasty....I will be adding more ice to the smoothies in future as they were a bit thick but not too thick to suck up with the straw and enjoy!!
